At the Defence Services Asia DSA in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the largest exhibition in the Asian area, together with its Malaysian partners Corporate Envoy and Challenge Corporation, Kärcher Futuretech presented its systems for peace-keeping forces. At the 11th edition of this exhibition which took place for the first time in the Putra World Trade Center (PWTC) in the centre of Kuala Lumpur, KÄRCHER Futuretech Sales Manager Dirk Waldow, who is in charge of the Asian market, welcomed many high-ranking visitors and interested people from all over the world.

The Malaysian Vice Premier and Minister of Defence, Yab Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib Abdul Razak, appeared very impressed with the technology of the trailer-based catering systems. Already since the beginning of this year, the Malaysian Armed Forces have relied on the mobile TFL 25 field laundry. Major General Dato’ Oseman Bin Chik, Chief of Logistics of the Royal Malaysian Armed Forces, thanked for the delivery of the first three compact laundry systems and took advantage of the DSA for discussing the final details of this contract with KÄRCHER Futuretech Sales Manager Dirk Waldow.

The highly mobile water purification systems of the Waterclean series were once again in the focus of interest. In addition to civilian and military applications, these systems are also used in the case of natural disasters such as the Tsunami, or most recently the disastrous cyclone in Burma. Using the WTC 500 RO, up to 10,000 litres of palatable drinking water can be produced per day. The Vice Minister of Defence of the Sultanate of Brunei, Pehin Colonel Dato’ Mohammad Yasmin Umar, assured himself once again of the systems at the KÄRCHER Futuretech stand and is considering making a purchase in the near future. “This exhibition was an excellent opportunity to establish new contacts and expand existing partnerships on the Asian market,” states Dirk Waldow in his positive summary.

In addition, the Sales Manager also welcomed interested people from Eastern Europe who took the opportunity to make a closer, personal inspection of the KÄRCHER Futuretech portfolio. Lieutenant General Ivan Svyda, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Ukraine and the Polish Lieutenant General Lech Majewski, “Assistant Chief of General Staff,” intensively discussed further equipment possibilities for their armies.
