The International Training Technology Exhibition and Conference (IT²EC), originally scheduled to take place at London’s ExCel Centre this September, has been called off due to ongoing restrictions put in place by the spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic.
In a statement, the organisers said ‘continuing prohibitions and advisories against international travel put into effect by governments around the world and the introduction of COVID-19 government regulations and public health directives.’ were the primary reasons behind calling off the event.

Around 80% of visitors and exhibitors to the event come from overseas, all of which would have to undertake a mandatory 14-day quarantine upon entry to the UK. The event organisers said this would ‘ present extremely significant challenges’ for the majority of attendants to the event.
The next IT²EC event will now take place on the 25-27 May 2021 in Seville.
