The US State Department has approved two separate potential foreign military sales (FMS) to Denmark, involving Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) equipment with Indirect Fire Protection Capability and AIM-120C-8 Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missiles (AMRAAM), with a total estimated value of $3.73bn.

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) has provided Congress with the necessary certifications regarding these proposed transactions.

The principal contractors for the IBCS-related sale are RTX, Lockheed-Martin, Leidos, and Northrop Grumman.

The US government has indicated that no offset agreement is currently in place but stated that “any offset agreement will be defined in negotiations between the purchaser and the contractor.”

Implementation of this proposed sale would require the deployment of between nine and 14 US government representatives and 12 to 17 contractors to Denmark for periods up to seven years in order to support equipment fielding, system checkout, training, and technical as well as logistical assistance.

Under the other transaction, valued at an estimated $730m, Denmark seeks to acquire 200 AIM-120C-8 Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missiles (AMRAAM) and three AMRAAM guidance sections.

The request also includes AMRAAM control sections, containers, support equipment, spare parts, consumables and accessories, repair-and-return support services, software packages, both classified and unclassified as well as other associated engineering and logistical support.

RTX has been identified as the principal contractor for the AMRAAM missile sale.

In September 2025, the US Department of State approved a potential $8.5bn FMS of IBCS-enabled Patriot and accompanying equipment to Denmark.
