Dozor

Ukrainian’s Ukroboronprom’s Lviv armoured plant has successfully delivered a new modernised version of the Dozor armoured vehicle to the Ukrainian Armed Forces for trials.

Ukroboronprom director general Roman Romanov said: "We coped with this task on time, despite past delays and taking into account the complexity of the technology. So now it’s up to the military, who will test the Dozor in real environments."

Romanov noted that work on the armoured vehicles was possible due to the cooperation between Ukroboronprom and local enterprises of the Lviv region to meet all the needs of the military, and to strengthen the country’s defence.

"These new vehicles will be deployed to the Donbass conflict zone."

The cooperation is part of the memorandum of implementation of the state defence order and programmes on socio-economic development, which was signed in April this year.

In order to successfully implement the Dozor project production, personnel changes at the Lviv armoured plant were also carried out recently, according to Romanov.

Expected to be delivered to the Ukrainian Army by the end of this year, these new vehicles will be deployed to the Donbass conflict zone, reported Sputnik International.
