The company also secured a contract for the supply of 20 3-phase 220VAC systems as part of the previously announced national recreation reservation system (NRRS) programme, bringing the total systems to be delivered to 132, of which 62 units have already arrived.

Designed for integration into a mobile radar system, the VIPER is an axially symmetric power generator and vehicles power management system that uses rotating energy from an engine to deliver both AC and DC power, on location, for military applications.

VIPER deliveries are scheduled to take place by the end of September 2012, while VAC systems will be delivered over the next two months.

South Korea has placed orders for 2,137 systems for seven different military programmes valued at $13m to date, in addition to 7,000 AuraGen/VIPER systems that are to be supplied over a seven-year period at the rate of 1,000 a year, as part of a separate $63m programme.
