"HF radio systems are crucial for delivering up-to-the-minute situational awareness and command and control."

The RF-5800H is a long-range, high-frequency handheld radio designed to provide secure, reliable beyond line-of-sight terrestrial communications to personnel operating in environments such as mountains or urban areas.

Advanced features such as third generation-automatic link establishment (ALE) enable the RF-5800H to set up contacts between two HF radios, while data sharing such as embedded text messaging and embedded GPS receivers is achieved through integrated data link protocols.
