The goal of the review is to provide a plan for near-term actions that will improve the effectiveness of the army acquisition process, according to Defence Talk.

The review panel, led by Gil Decker, will try to find ways to improve the acquisition process and the challenges faced during procurement.

Decker and his team will provide solutions after a four-month period of review that involves interviews and real-time case studies.

The 120-day acquisition review, which is nearing its end, will not only look for means to reduce costs but also at improved steps to better processing.
