Raytheon’s SLAMRAAM (surface-launched advanced medium-range air-to-air missile) system has been successfully test fired from the medium tactical vehicle (FMTV) platform at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, US.

The FMTV platform for the SLAMRAAM system provided increased survivability, additional armoured capability and support to the SLAMRAAM mission.
