Indonesian Army Commander Lodewijk Friedrich Paulus said the joint exercises would improve Kopassus’s professional relations with SAS which was halted in 1999 over riots in East Timor.

The Kopassus is also reformulating its joint exercise programme with the US, which was halted 11 years ago according to thejakartaglobe.com.
