“Further delivery to the PNA will depend on the agreement between Palestine and Israel,” said Russia’s special envoy in the Middle East and deputy foreign minister, Alexander Saltanov.

The armoured vehicles have been delivered without any weaponry, added Saltanov.

The BTR-70 is a 4×4-wheeled APC that can accommodate a crew quantity of six and incorporates an NBC protection system, a central-tyre regulation system, and a fire detection/suppression system.
