The US Army has awarded a contract to Harris Corporation to supply tactical handheld radio systems with vehicular amplifier adapters for the army’s mine-resistant ambush-protected (MRAP) all-terrain vehicles (ATV).

Under the $119m contract, the company will supply JTRS-approved Falcon III AN/PRC-152 tactical handheld radio systems for the M-ATVs.
