The US Army has awarded a contract worth over $130m to SGIS to provide engineering and installation support to the project manager, defence communications and army transmission systems (PM DCATS).
Under the contract, SGIS will deliver engineering, integration, furnishing, installation, testing and transition technology shared solutions for the shared PM DCATS customer base.

The PM DCATS team will work on more than 100 projects, including strategic satellite communications and wideband control systems, long-haul terrestrial microwave and fibre-optic communications systems, tech control facilities, combat service support communications systems, critical power infrastructure, command centre upgrades, base radios and combat vehicle intercom systems.
The projects provide support to joint warfighters, major commands and combatant commanders worldwide.
The work will be conducted at Fort Bragg, FortHood, Texas.
