Raytheon has entered an agreement with the US Army Space and Missile Defence Command/US Army Forces Strategic Command, to investigate improvements in integrated air and missile defence mission effectiveness.
The five-year Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) will see Raytheon develop and implement a series of simulation-based investigations that share simulation and evaluation tools, software development and system integration expertise.

The CRADA will include analysis to enhance near-space and space payloads along with their controlling platforms and their associated command and control functions, improvements in overall battle command architecture, netted radars and sensors and timelines for effect on targets.
Network Centric Systems, Raytheon Missile Systems and Raytheon Integrated Defence Systems will be involved in the partnership.
