Cobham Mission Equipment senior vice-president Iain Gibson said that the main EOD robot would provide support to Spanish armed forces and Allied Nation Coalition Force bomb disposal capability.

Presently, the Spanish Army has 27 systems and is the world’s fourth-largest fleet operator of tEODor type robots.

The award also finalises a ten-year purchasing programme of advanced bomb disposal technology within the Spanish military.
