Supacat Australia has submitted its proposal to the Australian Defence Materiel Office (DMO) for the JP2097 Ph 1B (REDFIN) programme.
According to the proposal, Supacat has offered its HMT Extenda series and has signed a memorandum of understanding with proven Australian suppliers for the REDFIN Ph 1B programme.

The HMT Extenda can be converted to either to a 4×4 or 6×6 configuration and can be equipped with optional mine blast and ballistic protection kits.
The vehicle can also be supplied with various mission hampers, weapons and communications, as well as ISTAR and force protection equipment to suit different operational roles.
The 1B solution proposed by Supacat offers capability improvements that include firepower, protection, capacity, operability and safety.
The REDFIN 1B vehicle is similar to the Nary HMT fleet, which was delivered to the DMO by Supacat in October 2009.
