Bulova Technologies Ordnance Systems has been awarded a purchase order for environmentally friendly engineering development activities on the US Army’s booby trap simulators.

The award by Scientific Applications International Corporation (SAIC) also includes the delivery of simulators for the M117 flash bang and M119 whistle simulators.

The new order is part of the engineering development activities on the M118 flare booby trap simulator that began in 2009.

The company was also awarded a purchase order on both the IDIQ weapons and ammunition contracts for weapon components and medium-calibre munitions.
