The Royal Thai Army has taken delivery of the first three 480B turbine training / utility helicopters from Enstrom Helicopter at the Royal Thai Army air base in Lop Buri, Thailand.

The three 480B light turbine helicopters are part of a total of 16 aircraft to be delivered to the army along with providing spares, tools and training.

The aircraft was selected in a competitive bidding process that included aircraft from seven different manufacturers and the contract was awarded last year.

The next batch of three aircraft will soon be delivered to Thailand, according to Shephard.
