The Patriot is an affordable, low-risk air and missile defence system designed to protect against advanced threats that include aircraft, tactical ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles.
Work under the contract will be carried out at the company’s Integrated Air Defense Center in Massachusetts, US and Saudi Arabia.
Raytheon is the prime contractor for both domestic and international Patriot air and missile defence systems and system integrator for Patriot advanced capability-3 missiles.
