The capability will provide a modern communications system that will enhance ADF’s ability to link sensors, weapon systems, commanders and personnel in a networked environment.

The second project, with an estimated cost of $100m-$500m, will form a critical part of the strategic reform programme and will provide a single, unified human resources and payroll system.

The government is expected to make a final decision on approval for the projects from the period 2012-13 to 2014-15.
