The HIMARS can engage targets 70km away, at a speed of 94km/h, and can shoot and scoot in under 20 seconds, ensuring crew and equipment survivability.

The training allowed the SAF to build its operational capabilities and readiness, and also facilitated in sharing professional knowledge among soldiers of the two armies.

About 170 personnel from 23rd Battalion Singapore Artillery participated in the exercise, which also featured a joint live-firing with the US Army at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, US.
