Intelligent Waves has secured the first task order on the $12.1bn Information Technology Enterprise Solutions 3 Services (ITES-3S) indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract for the US Army.

The firm-fixed price, 12-month contract is in support of Colorado Army National Guard Information Management Office (G6), which delivers information systems, audiovisual systems, and technology support to US Army National Guard soldiers in the state of Colorado.

Under the contract, Intelligent Waves will extend the warranty and maintenance of commercial IT devices to meet IT and mission needs.

ITES-3S was launched in 2018 and is managed by Computer Hardware Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS), the army’s designated primary source for commercial Information Technology.

ITES-3S serves as the army’s primary source of IT-related services globally. It is available to all Department of Defense and other federal agencies.

ITES-3S period of performance starts with a five-year base ordering period beginning 25 September and could be extended with four one-year government option periods.

In October, Intelligent Waves secured a position on the ITES-3S IDIQ offering access to new opportunities to support the department of the army and strengthen long-term relationships with the company’s army customers.

Intelligent Waves is a service-disabled veteran-owned small business that offers end-to-end IT solutions to public and private sector clients globally.

In April, the US Army Contracting Command selected IT firm Unisys as one of 50 large companies to compete for task orders under the $12.1bn programme for the delivery of IT services in support to all army organisations.
