Based on a letter of intent (LoI) signed last year, the contract will be valued at more than €13m.

It also includes an option worth €209m for the next five years involving the delivery of image intensifiers, observation and surveillance systems and laser aiming devices.

Senop’s NVG is designed as a soldier’s personal night vision device for use in demanding military environments. It leverages aspheric and composite technologies to reduce system weight and ensure high performance.

The company’s laser aiming devices are designed to serve as a target designator. These aiming devices can be integrated with FDF’s existing weapons and other systems.
