Elbit Systems of Australia has successfully completed the delivery of the XACTth65 thermal weapon sights to the Australian Defence Force (ADF).
Delivery has been carried out under the Land 125 Phase IIIC contract. The maintenance phase of the Land 125 project is due to continue until mid-2020.

The 450gm XACTth65 is a compact, lightweight thermal weapon sight that has the capability to offer high performance during the day and at night.
Elbit Systems of Australia Land 125 project manager Cathie Webb said: “Personnel who have been issued with the thermal sight have been giving us extremely positive feedback about the sight’s effectiveness and ease of use.”
Since September 2016, the company has provided approximately 4,800 units of the XACTth65 thermal sights to the Australian Army.
