Each drone is equipped with S.O.D.A. 3D and Duet M sensors, which include full real-time kinematic (RTK)/post-processed kinematic (PPK) activation.
The US Army intends to utilise these drones for a range of missions requiring accurate tactical mapping.
According to EagleNXT, the eBee TAC drones are capable of achieving centimetre-level precision without the routine use of extensive ground control points, due to their RTK/PPK-enabled systems.
The S.O.D.A. 3D sensor provides both nadir and oblique imagery for 3D modelling, while the Duet M sensor enables RGB and multispectral data capture for vegetation analysis and environmental monitoring.

By GlobalDataEagleNXT CEO Bill Irby said: “This sale highlights the surging demand across Europe for advanced tactical mapping capabilities. The need for rapid, reliable aerial data collection is expanding exponentially, and through 2025 we have implemented numerous operational improvements to deliver our drones and sensors in a shortened time frame, reducing customer wait times for capability.”
The eBee TAC is a fixed-wing drone launched by hand, with a flight endurance of up to 90 minutes and a range of 17.2 miles.
The drone may be deployed for border surveillance and reconnaissance activities, tactical mapping in support of operational planning and intelligence gathering.
Additional applications include search and rescue missions, counterinsurgency measures, and providing support for training and simulation exercises.
“Our drones and sensors are designed for mission-critical applications in dynamic and remote settings. Our NDAA compliant, Blue UAS listed eBee TAC tactical mapping drones will support Army missions with proven, readily deployable technology,” Irby added.
