It includes a TATRA chassis modified by KNDS for LEGUAN bridge deployment, along with a logistics support package and specialised tools.

The contract also features an option to procure additional training equipment as well as three more wheeled bridge layers and Leguan bridge sets valued at €25m. A decision on this extension is anticipated to be taken in 2026.

An open-ended clause within the deal allows other Scandinavian countries to participate in the agreement if they choose.

This procurement marks Denmark’s first use of a wheeled vehicle platform for its Leguan bridge layers. The system was previously operated on tracked Leopard 2 tanks within Danish service.
