The US Army has awarded a prime task order to technology and management solutions provider DCS Corporation for the delivery of survivability and protection support services to the army’s ground vehicle fleet.

Under the five-year order, the company will provide technical and programmatic support to the US Army Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC) ground vehicle survivability and protection (GVSP) directorate.

Through the deal, DCS will be committed to provide the army with research and development, design, prototyping, testing and integration support for ground vehicle systems, subsystems and technologies.

The current award combines several contracts into a single task order under the Tank-automotive and Armaments Command Strategic Services Solutions (TS3) Research and Development contract.

Work on the project will be carried out in GVSP Project Management offices at the Detroit Arsenal and Selfridge Air National Guard Base.

The GVSP directorate is responsible for ensuring ground vehicle ballistic protection, blast-mitigating technologies, and hit-and-kill avoidance initiatives for the US Department of Defense (DoD).

DCS is focused on providing advanced technology and management solutions to different government agencies in the US DoD and national security sector.
