The US Army’s C5ISR Center Electronic Warfare Air / Ground Survivability Division (EWAGS) has contracted CACI International for cyber and ground electronic warfare (EW) expertise and technology.
The four-year $82m contract will see collaboration between CACI’s technicians and engineers and the US Army for complex technology tools and systems development.

The development is intended to help counter evolving threats.
CACI’s team of experts will also conduct an assessment to make sure the highest protection is offered by the service’s explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) electronic countermeasure (ECM) systems.
Furthermore, the company will also be involved in compatibility testing with new and legacy command, control, communications, computers, combat systems, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems.
This will be helpful to identify and resolve any system issues with other army EW / tactical communication systems.

In April, CACI won a contract to support the US National Security Agency’s (NSA) signals intelligence and cybersecurity missions.
Last month, the company inaugurated its new Reston headquarters. It will house approximately 450 employees, as well as a Center for Research, Application, Development, Learning and Engagement (CRADLE).
During the third quarter of 2021, CACI reported a 5.9% increase in revenues to $1.55bn when compared to $1.46bn in the same period last year.
