By securing an enterprise licence, Bundeswehr will receive a medical command and control system from SitaWare Battlefield Health.
This expands the capabilities of the SitaWare Suite, which is already in operational use within the Bundeswehr.
Through SitaWare Battlefield Health, medical personnel will be able to record, access and monitor patient care from the point of injury through to hospital admission.
The platform enables real-time data capture for each patient, allowing for continuous tracking as individuals move through various stages of care.

By GlobalDataSystematic’s German subsidiary managing director Sven Trusch said: “We are proud that the Bundeswehr has again selected our proven SitaWare Suite, now expanding the capabilities to its medical services.
“Systematic draws on extensive expertise across its Defence and Healthcare divisions, having developed cutting-edge solutions over decades, that are deployed worldwide today. Consolidating this know-how represents the next logical step in enhancing the operational capabilities of our armed forces.”
The SitaWare Battlefield Health combines healthcare IT features with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems with military staff.
Designed to function in a multinational context, the software supports processes such as patient flow management and repatriation tracking alongside incident-site care documentation.
SitaWare is currently used in more than 50 countries worldwide. It enables different levels of military command and operational domains to share plans and critical information across both national and coalition networks.
