The aerial systems are known for their performance while offering high operational flexibility.

The WanderB-VTOL Mini unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and ThunderB-VTOL Tactical UAV provide integrated advantages of a fixed-wing UAV and a multi-copter.

These aerial vehicles feature high speed, longer durability and wind independency, with larger area coverage. They can also glide in the event of engine failure.

The UAS has the potential to take-off and land from confined spaces with a small clearance. The UAVs can hover over a target and perform accurate, safe and damage-free landing.

Additionally, the highly mobile UAS is compact enough to be carried in small cases such as a soldier’s backpack.

A commander of the end user’s ground forces stated: “We are very impressed with BlueBird’s VTOL solutions because they enable high operational flexibility and provide invaluable real-time intelligence and situation awareness.

“These battlefield-proven VTOL solutions will be deployed as part of our modern fighting doctrine and will serve as the troop’s eye in the sky providing advanced and reliable intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance (ISTAR) capabilities to address the modern battlefield’s key challenges.”
