Accenture’s subsidiary Accenture Federal Services (AFS) has secured a contract from the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) for ServiceNow deployment.

As part of the five-year contract, the ServiceNow platform will be used to update INSCOM’s Enterprise Service Management (ESM) capabilities.

ServiceNow, a cloud-based platform, enables enterprises to automate their IT workflows by keeping people, functions and systems connected.

AFS managing director and National Security Portfolio Services Intel Client Account lead Erik Raynes said: “Accenture Federal Services is thrilled to support INSCOM’s ongoing drive to digital.

“This award reflects our leading capabilities and trusted partnership with ServiceNow. We look forward to playing a key role in enhancing the quality and speed of the support INSCOM provides to its workforce and supported commands around the world.”

The platform will combine INSCOM’s service management functions across security domains and improve customer support and other capabilities.

The deployment will support the INSCOM Digital Transformation Support Services (IDTS2) contract, which was awarded in collaboration with Carahsoft under the Department of Defense Enterprise Software Initiative (ESI) blanket purchase agreement.
