Out of the aerospace, defence & security industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 29.78% share in August 2022, recording a decrease of 0.47% over the last three-month average share.

By GlobalData1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 65.56% in August 2022, registering a 14.94% growth over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 20.74% share, an increase of 3.7% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Research Scientists held a share of 6.3%, registering a 22.73% decline from July 2022.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 4.44%, up 50% over the previous month.
Top five aerospace, defence & security companies in India’s IT recruitment activity in August 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 29.95% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s aerospace, defence & security industry during August 2022 over July 2022.
The Boeing posted 139 IT jobs in August 2022 and registered a rise of 52.75% over the previous month, followed by Elettronica with 60 jobs and a 50% growth. Raytheon Technologies with 32 IT jobs and NewRocket with 15 jobs, recorded a 38.46% decline and a 15.38% growth, respectively, while Groupe Industriel Marcel Dassault recorded an increase of 900% with 10 job postings during August 2022.
Mid Level job postings dominate in August 2022
Mid Level jobs held a share of 56.3%, up by 15.15% from July 2022. Junior Level positions with a 42.59% share, registered an increase of 7.48% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 1.11% share, down 40% over July 2022.
