The device includes a base, a column attached to the base, a sleeve surrounding the column, and grooves for exchanging liquid and/or gaseous media between the column and the sleeve. A support is also included to fix the center part with respect to the base when the column is removed. The column is detachably interconnectable to the base and has a staggered design with different diameters along its axial direction, allowing for easy removal from the center part.
Furthermore, the rotating device features a drive with a stationary part and a rotary part, detachably interconnected to the center part by a quick release coupling. The method for disassembling the injection molding device involves separating the column from the center part while one of them remains in the machine, detachably fixing the center part, releasing the fixture holding the column, and removing the column in a direction away from the base. Prior to releasing the fixture, liquid and/or gaseous media can be exchanged between the column and the sleeve through the grooves.
