Notably, COVID-19 was one of the most frequently referenced themes in Q2 2023, ranking highest in terms of mentions, ahead of hypersonic technologies and personalization, according to GlobalData.
Of the top leading companies in the aerospace, defence & security industry, HEICO had the greatest increase in references for COVID-19 in Q2 2023, compared with the previous quarter. GlobalData identified 15 COVID-19-related sentences in the company's filings - 1% of all sentences - and an increase of 50% in Q2 2023 compared with Q2 2022. Raytheon Technologies’s mentions of COVID-19 rose by 15% to 15 and Lockheed Martin’s by 7% to 13 and Safran’s by 38% to 13 and Boeing’s by 84% to 9.
