The US Army has selected information technology consulting company Booz Allen Hamilton for a new contract for the delivery of global training, support systems and mission support services.
The indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract will continue for a period of five years and will include six other prime contractors in addition to Booz Allen Hamilton.

Valued at $554m, the new Training Support Systems Enterprise (TSS-E) contract has been awarded by the US Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) based at Fort Eustis, Virginia.
MICC, which serves as a major subordinate command of the US Army Contracting Command, is focused on procuring services and supplies required to support the service’s global mission, in addition to ensuring the wellbeing of warfighters.
Booz Allen principal Kevin McClung said: “This contract builds on Booz Allen’s long-standing partnership with the US Army to protect our nation from military threats.
“Our industry-leading mission consultants will bring their expertise and innovative thinking in the field of training and training management. They will provide support to operations and develop solutions and support to army ranges and land assets.

Last month, the company received a task order worth $43m to help the US Army Natick Soldier Research, Development and Engineering Center (NSRDEC) improve protective equipment for the soldiers.
