BAE Systems has signed a long-term contract with Milrem LCM to support CV9035 infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs) for the Estonian Defence Forces.
This contract follows BAE Systems and the Estonian Government contracts to maintain and sustain the IFV fleet signed in April last year.

The contract covers a total of 44 CV9035 vehicles acquired by the Estonian Ministry of Defence from the Netherlands in 2014.
In October 2016, Netherlands delivered the first batch of 12 combat vehicles to Estonia, which was followed by the second delivery in December.
Under the current deal, Milrem LCM will be responsible for delivering maintenance and repair services for the CV9035 vehicles from its facility in Estonia.

The two companies have also collaborated to pursue an opportunity to upgrade CV90 support vehicles under a programme for the Estonian Centre for Defense Investment later this year.
As part of the CV90 programme, BAE Systems and Milrem LCM are expected to provide maintenance, repair and rebuild services for an additional 37 CV90 MkI vehicles purchased from Norway.
Estonia is currently one of the seven countries operating the CV90 IFVs.
Milrem LCM is 60% owned by Patria and 40% by Mootor Grupp. The company is an Estonian provider of combat vehicle lifecycle management.
