CACI International has secured a task order to provide engineering support services for the US Army’s Commercial Based Technology Analysis (CBTA) programme.

Under the $41.5m deal, engineering support will be delivered by CACI to the US Army Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center’s Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate (I2WD).

The one-year task order has been awarded by the General Services Administration’s Federal Systems Integration and Management Center under the One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) contract vehicle.

CACI’s technical intelligence engineering team will help support the CBTA programme in a wide range of areas, including the characterisation of technology through physical, electrical and software analysis.

The team will also help assess the function and intent of the technology, in addition to assisting in reverse-engineering and replicating the technology as required.
