The US Department of Defense’s (DoD) engineering and managerial support services provider DCS has been awarded a $98m prime task order to deliver systems engineering and technical assistance support for the US Army.
Under the five-year deal, the company will deliver support services to the Program Manager Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PM PNT) of Program Executive Office Intelligence Electronic Warfare and Sensors (PEO IEW&S).

DCS will be responsible for providing support for the planning, development, management, sustainment, and execution of the US Army’s PNT systems.
The company will support PM PNT at nine US locations, namely the Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland, Robins Air Force Base (AFB) and Fort Gordon in Georgia, Los Angeles AFB in California, Charlottesville in Virginia, Washington in District of Columbia, Warren in Michigan, Huntsville in Alabama, and Albuquerque in New Mexico.
PM PNT offers coordinated PNT System of Systems Architecture and associated products for the US Army mounted and dismounted platforms.
It also serves as the lifecycle manager of the army for the Precision Light Weight Global Positioning System (GPS) Receiver, Defence Advanced GPS Receiver (DAGR) and DAGR Distributed Device (D3), and future PNT efforts.

The PM PMT task order brings together a number of US Army contracts to form a single task order under the Tank and Automotive Command (TACOM) Strategic Service Solutions Knowledge Based Services (TS3 KBS) contract.
