Under the partnership, the two companies will be responsible for providing combined subject matter expertise, systems understanding, and global training experience to deliver a new and immersive training system for the armed forces.

The consortium offers several capabilities to the JFST, including network security, exercise management and after-action review tooling, advanced LVC and synthetic environments, as well as training service management and delivery.

The project is expected to reach full operating capability by 2020.

In December 2017, QinetiQ, Inzpire and Close Air Solutions signed a collaboration agreement to bid for the project.
