The arrangement will see Aviall market AE 2100 turboprop, AE 1107C turboshaft and AE 3007 turbofan engines, which can be used to power a wide variety of military aircraft.

"Rolls-Royce focuses continuously on serving our military customers around the world, and our agreement with Aviall is already providing excellent support for AE engine operators."

AE 2100 turboprop systems are used to power the C-130J, C-27J and ShinMaywa US-2 aircraft. More than 1,800 of these engines have been delivered to date.

The AE 1107C turboshaft powers the V-22 Osprey tilt rotor aircraft, while AE 3007 turbofan powers the Global Hawk and Triton unmanned surveillance platform, Boeing stated.

Rolls-Royce notes that AE 1107C features six stages of variable compressor vanes, dual FADECs and a self-contained oil system that enables vertical operation.
