CACI International has received a task order to support the US Army Communications-Electronics Research, Development, and Engineering Center (CERDEC) Flight Activity (CFA).
The $91m task order was awarded under the Rapid Response-Third Generation (R23G) contract vehicle.

The contract requires the company to supply airborne platform systems integration, maintenance and training and operations support for CFA’s surveillance and reconnaissance missions over a period of four years.
The deal also covers the delivery of services in the areas of electronic and mechanical engineering design, prototype development, as well as all facets of training, platform maintenance, and flight and ground operations. This includes OCONUS deployment and integrated logistics support.
CACI will also support the testing of new design, development, integration, test, evaluation, and sustainment of sensor and surveillance technologies in areas such as radio frequency, electro-optical, thermal, radar, and acoustic systems.

The CFA is responsible for supporting research, development, and evaluation of command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C4ISR) airborne intelligence systems.
