The US Army has awarded a contract to General Dynamics Information Technology to provide IT services to its programme executive office – enterprise information systems (PEO-EIS).

The $20m contract includes programme management and IT services for installation and management automated systems for the army and US Marine Corps warfighters.

Services include programmatic and technical engineering management support to the project office for planning and executing the design, development, deployment, training and lifecycle sustainment of hardware and software applications to support the army and marine corps.

General Dynamics will also provide expert technical support for database design and enhancement, configuration management, and verification and validation of updated software packages to support the army installation and combatant commander strategic initiatives.
