The US Army’s Aviation and Missile Command has awarded a five-year contract to Cobham for the supply of Microclimate Cooling Systems (MCS) to the Air Warrior Programme office.
The MCS, designed for use on helicopters and ground vehicles, is a compact, self-contained vapour compression cycle cooling system designed to extend mission duration of soldiers by preventing heat stress in extreme climates.
