Specifically designed for the army’s future armed robotic vehicle-assault (light), the ANS could control several other classes of manned and unmanned vehicles.

The General Dynamics Robotic Systems team will continue to build and test the ANS system with subsequent delivery of prototypes along with the scheduled integrated qualification testing in 2012.

The ANS CDR is one of the critical Increment 2 reviews for the army’s brigade combat team modernisation programme.
