Integrated Survivability Technologies (IST) will supply an additional 28 Wolfhound heavy tactical support vehicles to the UK Ministry of Defence.

The Wolfhound is a truck variant of the combat-proven Mastiff armoured troop carrier manufactured by IST, a joint venture of Force Protection Inc and Coventry-based NP Aerospace.

The highly protected carrier can be used as a gun tractor, and to move ammunition, food and bulky stores for use in the construction of forward bases.

The Wolfhound is fitted with a 7.62mm general purpose machine gun as well as the normal fit of radio and electronic equipment.

In April 2009, the UK MoD awarded a £90m ($134.3m) contract to IST for the supply of 98 Wolfhound armoured vehicles.
