Russia will complete the delivery of six contracted Sukhoi Su-30MK2 and Su-27SKM fighter jets to Indonesia on 16 September.
Under a $300m contract, signed in 2007, Russia will deliver three Su-30MK2 and three Su-27SKM fighters to replace part of the outdated fleet of US F-16 fighters, according to RIA Novosti.

Russia is expected to deliver two Su-27SKM planes on 9 September with the other Su-27SKM plane will be delivered around mid-September.
The planes are being delivered ahead of schedule following a request by the Indonesian military authorities, so that the aircraft can participate on Indonesia’s Armed Forces Day on 5 October.
Indonesia had purchased two Su-27SK and two Su-30MK fighters in 2003 and has plans to equip one squadron with 16 Su fighters.
