Russia has plans to acquire more Israeli unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in addition to the 12 aircraft it purchased in 2009 from the country, according to the Jerusalem Post.

Serdyukov said that borrowing experience and know-how from Israel would help in the modernisation of the Russian armed forces.

Israel is believed to be against the Russian deal to supply Syria with advanced supersonic P-800 Yakhont cruise missiles, which would pose a major threat to Israel Navy ships if transferred to Hezbollah.
