The equipment was the third and fourth share of China’s military aid to the Philippine military, according to the Xinhua News Agency.

AFP and the China’s People’s Liberation Army had signed a new agreement last year, for China’s future full grant of 12 more units of engineering equipment worth 113m pesos.

Chinese Ambassador Liu Jianchao said the military aid from China would strengthen friendship and cooperation between the two governments.
