The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) plan to deploy a new grenade launcher, called Makelron and Maklar Ra’am, by 2011.
The 47kg launcher has greater precision than previous launchers and is being tested by three IDF units: SICPSC and elite units Egoz and Sayeret Matkal.
