A US military official said Pakistan was still in negotiations with the US on the type of pilotless drone system its army required.

The Shadow-200 drone system can be launched from a trailer-mounted pneumatic catapult and recovered with the aid of arresting gear, similar to jets on an aircraft carrier.

The system is equipped with an infrared camera which relays real time videos to a ground control station and includes four “birds” commonly known as drones, according to dawn.com.

The system is currently used by the US Navy and Marine Corps.
