The package also includes 7,000 dual-beam aiming lasers (DBAL A2), 6000 AN/PVS-21 low-profile night vision goggles (LPNVG), spare and repair parts, and other related logistical and programme support.

The proposed sale will increase Royal Saudi Land Forces’ (RSLF) capability to defend against threats during operations conducted at night and during low-visibility conditions.

The equipment will also meet the force’s defence and counterterrorism requirements to deter current insurgent activity.

FLIR and Laser Devices will be the prime contractors.
